Our products are made from high-quality materials such as synthetic leather, aluminum, genuine leather, and others. Despite quality controls and testing, we unfortunately cannot guarantee that Our products never have a manufacturing defect. However, with our smart wallets, we cannot rule out the possibility of a defect occurring. In rare cases, the plastic cash holder may break. If one of our products has such a defect, we offer the following manufacturer's warranty under certain conditions, in addition to the statutory warranty to which the consumer is entitled against the seller.
Essentialbag (Marvin Moik), Hildegard-von-Bingen Straße 9, 65462 Ginsheim, grants the consumer a limited-time warranty for its manufactured products under the following conditions and to the extent described below. Warranty scope
The warranty terms apply exclusively within the Federal Republic of Germany and the European Union. The warranty covers all products purchased from April 12, 2021 (proof of purchase required). All products come with a 12-month warranty from the date of purchase. If a product is defective upon delivery, even if unworn, this must be reported to us immediately upon receipt of the goods. Products older than six months are generally excluded from the warranty. The services described here are in addition to, and do not replace or limit, the statutory warranties. This guarantee is a voluntary and non-binding service that may be withdrawn at any time without giving reasons.
Issues excluded from the warranty
Goodwill: Regarding gifts and goodwill gestures The customer has no right to a warranty claim against the supplier.A warranty requires a purchase. The customer must have provided some form of consideration in return.
Purchase from third-party providers: Purchasing Essentialbag products through third-party providers does not entitle you to warranty service.
Gifted products: If you receive products as a gift as part of one of our promotions, these products are not covered by any warranty.
Products purchased more than 12 months ago are generally excluded from the warranty.
Replacement of a replacement product
A warranty claim for a previously received replacement is only valid if the "replacement-for-replacement" claim is made within six months of the purchase date. A renewed claim can only be made if, as a result of the defect, the customer has fewer individual units of the already replaced product than they received with the original order (before the first complaint). In other words, we will only replace products again if, as a result of the defect, you have fewer intact individual units than originally ordered.
Assertion of the warranty claim
To make a warranty claim, customers must complete this form. Customers will be informed about the further processing of their claim after the form is received. Return shipping within Germany is free of charge in the event of a warranty claim. You will be charged.
Claims in the case of a gift
For gifts (customer 1 buys from us, gives it to customer 2, customer 2 makes a claim), a warranty claim is only possible if customer 2 has all relevant purchase information from customer 1 (email, order number, name, shipping address). This information must not be altered and should be used exactly as it appears for the claim.
Documentation obligation
A warranty claim is only valid if the customer submits clear photos with the application. In this context, "clear" means that the product must be clearly identifiable. color, as well as the defect underlying the application.
Note regarding the guarantee commitment § 477 BGB
Completely independent of this manufacturer's warranty and regardless of whether or not the prescribed warranty is invoked in the event of a warranty claim, the consumer's statutory warranty rights against the respective seller remain fully in effect. Therefore, even without asserting warranty claims, the consumer may, at their own discretion, assert their statutory rights as a buyer due to defects in the purchased item, in particular the rights to subsequent performance, rescission of the contract, price reduction, or damages (see Section 437 of the German Civil Code (BGB)), and the corresponding separate limitation periods in Section 438 of the German Civil Code (BGB), against the seller. This warranty applies without prejudice to mandatory statutory liability provisions.
Liability
The warranty statement does not grant any claim for compensation for consequential damages of any kind or other claims for damages.This limitation does not apply to mandatory legal provisions under which the manufacturer is liable outside of this voluntary warranty statement.
Limitation period, statute of limitations
Warranty claims must be made immediately, but no later than two months after discovering a defect. After this period, any warranty claims are excluded. Warranty claims expire 12 months after the end of the warranty period.
