Set up key tracker (iOS)

1. Key Card charge

The new key tracker is not yet fully charged to optimally protect the battery and ensure its full performance. Even without use, the battery will discharge over time. Use a USB-C charger and charge the tracker until the indicator light illuminates. changes from red to green.

2. Switch on the device

Press and hold the button for 5 seconds to turn on the device. You will then hear 3 beeps as confirmation that the device is active.

To check if the device is on, you can quickly double-click the device button. If the device is on, you will hear a beep.

3. App pairing

  1. Activate Bluetooth on your phone
  2. Open the "Where is?" app on your iPhone
  3. Keep the GPS Tracker Card near your iPhone
  4. Select the tabsCard “objects“, tap on “Add object“ and then on “Other supported object"
  5. Once your GPS Tracker Card was found, tap on "connect"
  6. Enter a name for your device and choose an emoji for easier identification.
  7. Confirm the link to your Apple ID by clicking on “Agree“ types
  8. Complete the process by clicking on “Finish“ types

Find key trackers

Find your device with the Find My app

  1. Open the "Find My" app on your iPhone.
  2. Go to registerCard 'Objects'.
  3. Select your device from the list to view its current location on a Card to be displayed.

Find device with beep

  1. Open the "Find My" app on your iPhone.
  2. Choose the registerCard 'Objects' out of.
  3. Tap on your device in the list.
  4. Choose "Play sound" Your device will then emit a beep to help you find it more easily if it is nearby.

Notify if left behind

You can activate a feature in the "Find My" app that automatically notifies you as soon as you move away from your item. This way, you'll always be informed if you've forgotten your wallet or left it somewhere.

  1. Open the "Find My" app on your iPhone.
  2. Go to registerCard 'Objects' and choose the Essentialbag GPS Tracker Card out of.
  3. Scroll down to “Announcements”.
  4. Activate the option "Notify us if you leave someone behind".

Remove key tracker

Remove Key Tracker from the Find My app

  1. Open the 'Find My' app on your iPhone.
  2. Choose the registerCard 'Objects'.
  3. Tap on your device in the list.
  4. Scroll down and select "Remove object".
  5. Confirm your selection by clicking again. "Remove" typed.

After the device is removed, it will emit a beep. The device does not switch off but remains in pairing mode. If no re-pairing occurs within 10 minutes, the device will exit pairing mode. If you wish to re-pair the device at this point, press the device button once. The device will beep, indicating that it is back in pairing mode and can be paired again.

For a reset

Reset key tracker to factory settings

If you encounter difficulties re-pairing your device or wish to completely reset it, resetting to factory settings may be helpful. This process removes all previous settings and restores the device to its original state.

  1. Remove the device from the 'Find My' app.: Select the device under the registerCard Select 'objects' and remove it.
  2. Turn on the device and double-click the device button to ensure it is active.
  3. Hold the device button down for eight seconds: The device then emits a beep.
  4. Release the key, to complete the factory reset.

After this process, the device is like new again and ready to be re-paired according to the instructions above.

To restart

Turn off key tracker

Click the button 5 times in quick succession. The device will play 4 tones and then switch off.

Charge key tracker

Low battery notification

With the "Where is?" app, you will be notified after about 10 months when the battery of your tracker-Card is almost empty. This way you can react in time and ensure that your Card It's always ready. You can also check the current battery level at any time in the app.

Inductive charging of the Tracker Card

You can your Tracker Card Charge it inductively. Align the Card The symbol on the back should align with the center of the charger. The red LED lights up during charging, and when the Card The green LED lights up when the device is fully charged. A full charge usually takes about 45 minutes. Tracker Card It will then be operational again for about 10 months.
