Set up tracker card (iOS)

1. Top up the tracker card

Your new tracker card is not yet 100% charged to protect the battery and ensure its full performance. Even without use, the battery will discharge over time. Use a wireless charger and charge the card until the indicator light changes from red to green.

2. Turn on the device

Press the button for 5 seconds to turn the device on. You will then hear 3 tones to confirm that the device is active.

To check if the device is on, you can quickly double-click the device button. When the device is on, you will hear a beep.

3. App pairing

  1. Activate Bluetooth on your phone
  2. Open the Find My app on your iPhone
  3. Hold the GPS tracker card near your iPhone
  4. Select the Objects tab, tap Add Object , then tap Other Supported Object
  5. Once your GPS tracker card is found, tap " connect "
  6. Enter a name for your device and choose an emoji for easy identification
  7. Confirm the link to your Apple ID by tapping " Agree "
  8. Complete the process by tapping “ Finish ”

4. Inserting the tracker card

Now position the tracker card in your Smart Wallet. Ideally, place it in the right inner compartment of your Smart Wallet, exactly as shown in the picture. This way it is perfectly integrated and your Smart Wallet can be found at any time from now on.

Find Tracker Map

Find your device with the 'Find My' app

  1. Open the Find My app on your iPhone.
  2. Go to the 'Objects' tab .
  3. Select your device from the list to see its current location on a map.

Find device with beep

  1. Open the Find My app on your iPhone.
  2. Select the 'Objects' tab .
  3. Tap your device in the list.
  4. Select "Play sound." Your device will then emit a beep to help you find it if it's nearby.

Notify when abandoned

You can activate a function in the "Find My" app that automatically notifies you as soon as you move away from your property. This way, you are always informed if you have forgotten your wallet or left it somewhere.

  1. Open the Find My app on your iPhone.
  2. Go to the 'Objects' tab and select the Essentialbag GPS Tracker card.
  3. Scroll down to Notifications .
  4. Enable the “Notify when left behind” option.

Tracker Card Remove

Remove tracker card from the 'Find My' app

  1. Open the Find My app on your iPhone.
  2. Select the 'Objects' tab .
  3. Tap your device in the list.
  4. Scroll down and select Remove Item .
  5. Confirm your selection by tapping “Remove” again.

After the device has been removed, it will beep. The device will not turn off but will remain in pairing mode. If no re-pairing occurs within 10 minutes, the device will exit pairing status. If you want to re-pair the device at this time, press the device button once. The device will beep, which will return it to pairing status and allow it to be paired again.

For a reset

Reset tracker card to factory settings

If you're having trouble re-pairing your device or want to reset it completely, you may find it helpful to perform a factory reset. This process removes all previous settings and returns the device to its original state.

  1. Remove the device from the Find My app : Select the device under the Items tab and remove it.
  2. Turn on the device and double-click the device button to make sure it is active.
  3. Press and hold the device button for eight seconds : The device will then beep.
  4. Release the button to complete the factory reset.

After this process, the device will be as good as new and ready to be re-paired according to the instructions above.

To restart

Turn off tracker card

Click the button 5 times quickly. The device plays 4 tones and turns off.

Top up your tracker card

low battery notification

With the "Find My" app, you will be notified after about 4 months when the battery of your tracker card is almost empty. This way you can react in time and make sure that your card is always ready. You can also view the current battery level in the app at any time.

Inductive charging of the tracker card

You can charge your tracker card inductively. Align the card so that the symbol on the back is aligned with the center of the charger. The red LED lights up while charging and the green LED lights up when the card is fully charged. A full charge usually takes about 45 minutes. The tracker card will then be ready for use for about 4 months.

- You have tried turning your tracker card on, off, resetting to factory settings and checking the status using the instructions above

- You have pressed the functions that require you to press the button multiple times quickly enough
