Before we start:

Install Findthing app

To set it up, you need the free app "Findthing - Smart Finder" from the Google Playstore.

1. Top up the tracker card

Your new tracker card is not yet 100% charged to protect the battery and ensure its full performance. Even without use, the battery will discharge over time. Use a wireless charger and charge the card until the indicator light changes from red to green.

2. Turn on the device

Press the button for 5 seconds to turn the device on. You will then hear a beep to confirm that the device is active.

To check if the device is on, you can double-click the device button. If the device is on, you will hear a beep.

3. App pairing

  1. Download app: Download the " Findthing Smart Finder " app from the Google Play Store.
  2. Enable Bluetooth: Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your phone.
  3. Open app: Open the " Findthing Smart Finder " app and follow the instructions.
  4. Add device: Click "Add device" , scroll down the device list to "Other" and select that option.
  5. Pair tracker card: Hold the tracker card close to your smartphone. Once the card is found, select it to connect it.
  6. Name your device: Enter a name for your device, choose an appropriate category (e.g. "Wallet") and add a picture.
  7. Complete the process: Tap Done in the top right corner to complete the process.

4. Inserting the tracker card

Now position the tracker card in your Smart Wallet. Ideally, place it in the right inner compartment of your Smart Wallet, exactly as shown in the picture. This way it is perfectly integrated and your Smart Wallet can be found at any time from now on.

Find device with the "Findthing Smart Finder" app

  1. Open app: Open the "Findthing Smart Finder" app on your smartphone.
  2. Select device: Select your GPS tracker card from the list of connected devices.
  3. View location history: Click the Location History button to view the current location of the card on a map.

  1. Open app: Open the "Findthing Smart Finder" app on your Android device.
  2. Select device: Select your GPS tracker card from the list of devices.
  3. Enable beep: Click "Call" to locate your GPS tracker card with a beep.

Tracker Card Remove

Remove tracker card from the "Findthing Smart Finder" app

  1. Sign in: If you are not already logged in to the "Findthing Smart Finder" app, sign in now.
  2. Select device: Select your GPS tracker card from the list of devices.
  3. To view device information, click the "About device" button.
  4. Disconnect: Scroll down and select "Disconnect".
  5. Confirm: Click the "Confirm" button to permanently disconnect.

After the device has been removed, it will beep. The device will not turn off but will remain in pairing mode. If no re-pairing occurs within 10 minutes, the device will exit pairing status. If you want to re-pair the device at this time, press the device button once. The device will beep, which will return it to pairing status and allow it to be paired again.

Reset tracker card to factory settings

If you're having trouble re-pairing your device or want to reset it completely, you may find it helpful to perform a factory reset. This process removes all previous settings and returns the device to its original state.

  1. Remove the device from the "Findthing Smart Finder" app
  2. Turn on the device and double-click the device button to make sure it is active.
  3. Press and hold the device button for eight seconds : The device will then beep.
  4. Release the button to complete the factory reset.

After this process, the device will be as good as new and ready to be re-paired according to the instructions above.

To restart

Turn off tracker card

Click the button 5 times quickly. The device plays 4 tones and turns off.

battery status

You can view the battery status of your tracker card in the "Findthing - Smart Finder" app. To do this, go to your device in the app and select "About device". There you will find all information about the current battery level.

Here you can also remove the connection to your phone to reconnect the card.

INDUCTIVE CHARGING OF THE TRACKER CARD

You can charge your GPS tracker card inductively. Align the card so that the symbol on the back is aligned with the center of the charger. The red LED lights up while charging and the green LED lights up when the card is fully charged. A full charge usually takes about 45 minutes. The tracker card will then be ready for use for about 4 months.
